High-deductible health plan (HDHP) medical members (select service areas)—New for 2022!
Humana will now be offering a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) for federal employees and retirees.
This plan will utilize Humana’s National Point of Service network, which is the same network currently used for the CoverageFirst and Value Plan.
The HDHP will feature a Self Only $3,000 deductible and 10% coinsurance Members utilizing the HDHP and a health savings account (HSA) can use their savings for current medical issues, or save them for future medical issues Members will have the option to choose the new HDHP plan in conjunction with the opportunity to use Humana’s resource tools to manage their own HSA Humana will be funding the HSA $50 (Self Only) and $100 (self + one, self + family) per month (health reimbursement arrangements [HRA] available for members not eligible for an HSA)
Humana will now be offering a new Group Medicare Advantage plan for retirees.
The Group Medicare Advantage plan will be a subset plan of the Value Plan (CS2887) and will be available in the same service areas as the Value Plan
This plan will require members to be dual enrolled as a member in a retiree division of the Value Plan as well as Medicare Advantage
Medical copayments, coinsurance and deductibles will be waived; $100 will be reimbursed towards your Medicare Part B premium
Coordination of Benefits—If you retired with Medicare A & B, but are not enrolled in the Medicare Advantage plan, your copays will no longer be waived
Rx coverage is included with copayments of $10/$45/$65/$100/25%
